Reflections 2013-2014

Emily decided to do a video this year for Reflections at our school.  The theme was Believe, Dream, Inspire, and she made a video about learning how to do the monkey bars. It was really cute!  She won an award at the school level and got to go on to the city level. We found out in early January that she was receiving an award of merit from the city level.  We are so proud of her and her amazing artistic mind!  Way to go, Em!!

December Events

Yes, I know it's March but I have this thing about Chronological order so I am up to December now. :-)
We had a lot of fun activities in December.  Take a look:

The girls had their Nutracker performance.  Ashley was a candy cane and Emily was a tree.  I can't for the life of me figure out why I don't have a picture of Emily as a tree, but oh well.  She was very lovely. :-)
One of Ashley's friends from school was in her class too

Our family, grandma and grandpa, and cousin that came to support our sweet girls

Ashley had her 1st grade sing.  She did so great!!

The girls enjoyed my "super" donut from another teacher
It was red and green day at school for Emily and Polar Express day for Ashley
This was also our last day of school before Christmas Break!  Hooray!
I LOVE December.  I think it's my favorite month at school because of what I teach in class and all the wonderful activities at school/church/home.
