All I want for Easter is...my two front teeth?

Emily lost two teeth last summer then...nothing! She hasn't lost a single tooth all school year...til Wednesday. She lost her front tooth on Wednesday night, then the very next day lost a tooth on the bottom. What a tooth week!

St. George Day 3--Our last day

On our last day, we went swimming (of course :-) ) and then packed up to leave and check out. We then went back to the park from the day before because they had this creek with a beach. I know what you're thinking...a beach in St. George? But yes there was a nice sandy area to play on. It was really nice. Ashley built a snake and a castle. Em built the temple and dinosaur tracks (she really loved the dinosaur museum!) It was a fun last activity before we drove home.

On the way down and on the way back we stopped in Scipio and the gas station had a little petting zoo. They had some fun interesting animals and Kenny had to take this picture because he thought that this pony and Ashley had the same hair style! :-) I kind of agree!

St. George Day 2

Day 2 of our trip was very relaxed and casual. We went swimming twice again (of course!), played on playgrounds and parks and rented a couple movies to watch. Basically just enjoyed the day together as a family. Very relaxing day!

St. George Day 1 Continued

We had a busy day our first day. After the dinosaur museum we went to the St. George temple and visitor's center. It has some neat displays in it. After that we went to Brigham Young's home just in time for the last tour of the day and then went and ate at the Pizza Factory. We ended up taking 4 boxes home of leftovers!! It actually turned out great though because we had our lunches for the next two days. To end the night we went on our second swim of the day. What a fabulous first day in St. George! :-)

St. George

For Spring Break we took a three day trip to St. George. We didn't have anything on our agenda (besides swimming, of course) and it was just a nice relaxing time. On our first day there we swam (twice) and then went to the Johnson Dinosaur museum. The girls had a blast doing both activities. A great start to our trip!

The place was fun because they had etchings for the kids to make and also these fake bones that kids could use to build their own dinosaurs. These are their results.

Disney on Ice--Let's Celebrate

Once again we took the girls to Disney on Ice. We surprised them this time and didn't tell them til we were up at the Energy Solutions Arena. They, of course, thought that we were going to the Jazz game, but when we said no, then Emily quickly guessed "Princess on Ice"--as she calls it.

They had a great time and I loved it. I thought it was one of the best. They celebrated different holidays--Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day. It was really cute! Ashley's favorite part was Halloween because Jack, the pumpkin king, and a lot of the villains were in it. She loves the bad guys! Emily's favorite part was Valentine's Day, because Minnie was looking for her "Prince Charming" to be her valentine and found Mickey. Ahhh! :-)

Snowmen

I know it's officially Spring, but I still have to post about the ONE time all year that we got enough snow to build snowmen. This winter was wimpy for us!! We hardly received any snow, or if we got any, by the time we got home from school it was gone. Finally at the end of February it snowed on a Saturday enough snow to make a snowman. Emily, Ashley, and Kenny all went out and built our snow family.

The snow melted rather quickly, but our snowmen actually lasted almost a week. The girls loved waking up each morning and checking to see if their snowmen were still there. At least we got to play in the snow ONCE this winter! :)
