Halloween 2014

We had fun again this year on Halloween, even though the kids didn't go trick-or-treating too long since they already had so much candy.  Emily somehow we never got a picture of on Halloween...oops! I think she went off with some friends before I could get a shot.  At least we got some at Disneyland. :-)  I had fun dressing up too.  Another Halloween come and gone.

Mickey's Trick or Treating Party

We LOVE Disneyland!!  The thought of going to Southern California without going to Disney is weird.  But, we had passes for Sea World and Legoland, not Disneyland, so Kenny and I decided that the next best thing would be going up to the Mickey trick or treating night.  If you buy the pass for that you get in at 3 p.m. and then get to stay until Midnight when it closes.  It is the best deal!  You can get in and go on a bunch of rides, then still get SO MUCH CANDY and still go on rides.  It was really unbusy so we got most every ride done and still ended up with 100+ pounds of candy (no lie!).  Our family just feels at home at Disneyland and it was the best day just being together as a family!!

Seeing Anna and Elsa was a treat!

Emily and Ashley were so excited to get to do the Jedi training

Tyler's first time on "big" rides

 We love Disneyland so much!!

Our haul of candy just from Disneyland

This is the pitiful lameness from Legoland--SO not worth it!
Sea World did trick or treating too and it was really good.  We loved our trick or treating week in California!

Fall Break 2014

It was really hard thinking about going to Southern California for Fall Break knowing my dad was not going to be there.  I didn't know how it would work, or if we would even like it.  It definitely was different, and we missed my dad a lot, but when we were at the different parks each day we were able to enjoy ourselves and still have a blast.  I'm sure grateful for my little family and for Kenny who knew exactly how I felt, because he felt it too.

We dressed up for the Legoland Bricks and Treats party!

This bear is called the Grandpa R bear.  He was my dad's and is dressed like my dad dressed.  We brought him along on our trip and we loved him much!!

We got to stay in the Legoland hotel one night.  It was really cool!!
