Annual Easter Egg Hunts

Our city and the city next to ours always has an Easter egg hunt each year.  I don't know if my kids are excellent hunters or what but they usually clean up!!  I think that's extra great, because then I don't have to worry about the Easter bunny bringing as much candy the next day.  This year was no exception.  This was also Tyler's first year.  He didn't really participate, we just put a few eggs on the ground and we crawled to get them.  Still cute though!!  I sure love my kids!

  As you can see, they scored in their second hunt.  Both baskets are full to the brim.

St. George--Easter

We went to St. George for our Spring Break.  Our first day there was Easter.  When the kids woke up they had their Easter basket things.  We were a little slow on the uptake in the morning, so we decided not to go to church but instead we watched some awesome Mormon messages.  We all could really feel the Spirit, and had a great discussion on what Easter is all about and why Christ's resurrection is SO important in our lives.  This was one of my favorite moments of the week!
After this, we had some fun egg hunts around our condo and then we went over to the temple and visitor's center.  At the visitor's center we watched some more mormon messages and just enjoyed the ambience.  It was a great first day of vacation and Easter!

 In the end I think we did 4-5 hunts.  It was very fun.

 Emily was being a stinker and wouldn't come pose with us, but doesn't Tyler look so cute!

Let the Torturing Begin

Is it an unspoken rule that the older kids get to torture the younger ones?  I think so.  The girls will have so much fun torturing Tyler before he can defend himself.  The poor little guy!  He'll be one tough dude when he gets older though. :-)

Emily was so pleased that he fit into her shopping cart.  Poor little guy!  You'll be happy to know that I got him right out...after I took the picture, of course! :-)
