Emily's Baptism!!

Emily turned 8 on October 29, so on Saturday, November 3, she was baptized.  It was one of the most special days of my whole life!!  I can't believe she is old enough already to be baptized.  I am also very pleased with the young woman she is quickly becoming.  Kenny did a fabulous job on her baptism and confirmation.  Lots of family and friends were there.  The Spirit was strongly there too.  She felt very loved.  We had a nice yummy brunch after.  It was a fabulous morning that I will never forget and I hope Emily always remembers too!!

One funny moment of the day is when Emily got out of the water and walked up the steps, I was there to greet her with her towel.  As I was putting the towel around her she loudly declared, "I am soaked!!" :-)  Everyone got quite the kick out of that.

Halloween 2012

Another Halloween has come and gone.  Tyler understood this year that people were giving him candy.  He looked cute as a Dragon.  Emily wanted to be her bird costume from dance but she's been growing so much it already didn't fit, so luckily I thought of her being a vet and she LOVED the idea and looked SO cute!  Ashley is loving Merida from Brave so that's who she was.  Another fun Halloween night.

As we were finishing our trip, Tyler got this weird thing on his head that pussed up then popped and oozed.  It was gross.  We think it might have been a spider bite but don't know for sure.
