Emily's birthday, party and Halloween

So I'm way behind so this will be an all in one post.  Em's birthday is two days before Halloween so like it or not, something Halloweenish is involved.  This year it happened to be Boo at the Zoo so she got to invite a couple friends and go get lots of candy and dress up.  It was a lot of fun.  For months the girls knew they both wanted to be Rapunzel and had planned out a whole family theme.  Dad would be Flynn, Tyler would be Maximus, the girls would be Rapunzel and I would be...Gothel.  I resisted for a long time (partly because I didn't want to be the bad guy and partly because I just don't like dressing up!)  But they won and we all dressed up and actually had quite a blast.
I went to school as Gothel too and Em was Rapunzel.  My wig was quite the hit!  It was a great last three days of October.

 The gang ready to trick or treat.  Ash's wig NEVER wanted to cooperate so it lasted for only these two pictures!  Emily's at least lasted a little while longer.  And yes, we were lazy and Tyler was next to Maximus, not really dressed up as Maximus, but it was just fine! :-)  Kenny did make a mighty handsome Flynn if I do say so myself!

There's a man in our neighborhood that walks around every year in this costume and scares the crap out of people!  My girls were too scared last year, but this year were brave enough to get a picture with him.
